Classic Swedish Massage
This is the most common type of massage therapy. It is also known generally as massage therapy. Massage therapists use long smooth strokes, kneading, and circular movements on superficial layers of muscle using massage lotion or oil.
Benefits: Swedish massage therapy can be very gentle and relaxing. If you have never had massage before, this is a good place to start.
Benefits: Senior massage uses gentle strokes, providing relaxation, and may promote healing.
This type of massage is performed seated on a fully clothed client. You sit leaning forward into a massage chair with your face nestled in a plush face cradle while the therapist massages your neck, back, and arms. This type of massage is typically a 10, 15 or possibly a 20-minute massage.
Benefits: Chair Massage Leaves the client feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. May reduce stress, improve sleep, and help sore and tight muscles.
B.E.S.T. is a gentle healing system used to address stress and promote balance in the body which may help other systems including the nervous, muscular, circulatory, digestive, and hormonal systems.
